Executive Director

~ Mill River Park Collaborative is a 501(c)3 non-profit and public/private partnership whose mission is to create and sustain a world-class urban park in Downtown Stamford. ~

Under contract with the City of Stamford, the Collaborative is leading a more than $100 million project that will encompass the ecology of the river, cultural and educational elements and opportunities for fitness and recreation, changing the urban landscape and economic dynamic of Stamford. 

Position Overview

Mill River Park Collaborative is currently seeking an Executive Director.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with at least 5 years’ experience in a major leadership and staff management role required.
• Candidate must be experienced in fundraising, budgeting, capital project management and maintenance.
• Experience in the field of parks and public land management is a plus.
• Seeking team builder with a strong commitment to working collaboratively with staff, board of directors, community and municipal partners and diverse stakeholders.
