Position Overview

We are seeking a Processing Team Lead to join our family.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for maintaining plant equipment in optimal operating condition   Provides technical expertise (maintenance, electrical, mechanical, robotic).  
• Performs Preventive and Predictive Maintenance activities.
• Assure proper inventory levels of required replacement parts.
• Assist department in meeting production goals.
• Observe mechanical and electrical components of egg grading equipment for correct operation.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical components of egg grading equipment.
• Oversee operations in relief of the Senior Processing Supervisor.
• Oversee sanitation operations.
• Performs all other duties as needed to support Pearl Valley Eggs.

Qualifications

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Demonstrated knowledge and experience with machine automation.
• Demostrated knowledge and application of preventive/predictive maintenance.
• Ability to analyze, troubleshoot and resolve problems.
• Knowledge of efficient and safe manufacturing operations.
• Ability to move body within a full range of body movements.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
• Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time.

Job Specification:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical school, course work or degree, is desirable.
• Additional training in related fields / equipment considered a plus HVAC experience a plus.
• At least 2 years’ experience in a food manufacturing environment.
• Egg production experience a plus.
• Previous experience working with FANUC Robotics or other manufacturing robotics.
• Bi-lingual Spanish speaking a plus.
• Strong mechanical or electrical aptitude, with a desire to increase knowledge.
