Position Overview
Our partner in Robertsdale, AL is searching for a Sales Manager - Hydraulic/Wind Power. This is an outstanding opportunity to be part of a great team and company that is well respected in the community. This position will report to the General Manager and will be responsible for all aspects of coordinating sales, distribution, including establishing sales territories, quotas, and goals.
This manager will also analyze sales leads, future sales potential, inventory requirements and monitoring the preferences of customers. This position is responsible for maintaining current customer relations and sales, increasing new customer sales, and providing a positive customer experience.
Responsibilities
- Ability to follow policies, directives and procedures
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Ability to maintain records in an accurate and adequate manner
- Ability to maintain good working relationships with customers.
- Possess qualities of motivation, creativity, initiative, organization, flexibility and adaptability
- Ability to receive requests and meet expectations from customers
- Ability to present a demonstrated knowledge of standard hydraulic items, resolve questions and relay pertinent information to customers
- Ability to coordinate with other departments in handling orders and providing service to customers
Qualifications
Requirements:
- High School Diploma
- 5-10 year's sales experience
- Knowledge of hydraulic cylinders and systems; as well as, a demonstrated ability to deal with customers
- Engineering background preferred but not required
Compensation: $80,000-$85,000 base (up to $130,000 with commissions).
