Internship Overview
Sustainablility Marketing Opportunity!
We are looking for an independent, hard-working, motivated intern with a "can-do" attitude who wants to learn about business, education and sustainability. We have an immediate short-term need and are looking for a paid intern to compliment the efforts of our marketing / communication team.
Internship Job Responsibilities
- Helping us implement various marketing strategies
- Performing market research for various topics
- Assisting with SBC social media sites
- Performing various administrative tasks as needed - mailings, envelope addressing, etc
Qualifications
- Attention to detail
- Willingness to take on any task (e.g. data entry, answering phones, etc.)along with demonstrated interest in and familiarity with sustainability
- MS Office suite, Outlook and Excel proficiency
- Experience with social media-knowledge of Twitter, Facebook and Instagram Analytics (Google analytics is also a plus)
- Solid work ethic, positive attitude and high standard of professionalism
Time Frame and College Credit
This position starts immediately and concludes Dec 15, 2016. Interviews will take place the first week of November. As part of the internship, we will mentor you and work with you on your career development as well. Please do not apply if you are seeking full time employment.
- This internship is intended for individuals who are willing to dedicate between 12-16 hours week in the office through Dec. 15th, 2016.
- The internship may be extended into next year for a full winter quarter, but our needs are immediate.
- Specific hours and workdays are flexible.
Compensation: This is a paid position at $15 hour and we can work with you if you wish to receive college credit for the internship.
