Position Overview
Position Purpose:
Our Business Analysts work closely within Product Ownership teams to identify business vision and translate it into documented requirements after a thorough analysis of business workflows and processes. Business Analysts are also responsible for coordinating with business stakeholders and the development team to ensure operational stability in their digital product and follow up on any reported issues.

Key Responsibilities
- Discuss with internal Product Owners on the current challenges, requests and identify how the software development can create a product that would bring added value;
- Translate the business requirements into documented requirements, workflow diagrams, and scoping documents with functional specifications;
- Identify inconsistencies in business workflows and possible scenarios;
- Facilitate communication of either changes in requirements or changes in development between the development team and Product Owners;
- Deliver informative, well-organized presentations;
- Assist in enforcement of project deadlines and schedules;
- Provide consultancy to the Product Owner;
- Coordinate with business stakeholders and the development or other teams to evaluate issues and provide a resolution; and
- Evaluate list of known issues and establish a priority.
Qualifications
- Graduate degree in related discipline (business or engineering);
- 3- 5 years' experience working as a business analyst or related technical field;
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills;
- Experience working with a software development team;
- Meticulous and attentive to detail;
- Alignment with Sustainalytics' mission, vision and values;
- Strong knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel;
- Knowledge of BPMN and/or UML is a plus; and
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
