Position Overview 

The Business Intelligence Administrator will be an integral part of the FoodState BI team and will be responsible for analyzing and synthesizing data across all functions of the company. The BI Administrator will also support multiple departments in developing meaningful decision-making tools including KPI reporting and dashboards to support decision-making and the performance tracking process.

Responsibilities   

  • Design, develop, implement, administer and support tools such as data modeling, data mapping, and data warehousing
  • Develop and manage BI and reporting solutions including dashboards or other visual presentation media 
  • Extract, transform and load in SSIS and database programming in SQL Server with stored procedures and T-SQL
  • Gather business requirements, design enterprise solutions and implement solutions for end-to-end development
  • Recommend, develop, and enforce IT and database standards, guidelines, and procedures 
  • Develop detailed technical specifications and ETL documentation, comply to internal standards and guidelines, provide post-implementation production support
  • Provide detailed analytics and reporting to support FoodState's decision making process and workflow
  • Ensure data accuracy and integrity by reconciling data and master data inconsistencies
  • Work with team members from various departments to provide department-level advanced data analysis and reporting 

Qualifications 

Knowledge, Skills & Experience: 

  • 5+ years BI and DW experience with the Microsoft platform
  • BS degree in Data Science, Business Intelligence, Information Management, Statistics, Computer Science or a related field is preferred
  • Experience in CPG a strong plus
  • Advanced proficiently with Microsoft Excel, Dashboarding and Powerpoint
  • Passion for analyzing large data sets and pattern recognition
  • Strong organizational and time management skills 
  • Detail oriented with good interpersonal skills and ability to work as an effective team member with a broad array of people from multiple departments
  • Drive to become a leader in this discipline for FoodState and the ability to be effective in a fast-paced, rapidly growing business
  • Ability to translate business requirements into technical design
  • Ability to plan, manage and report status of projects and tasks
  • Motivated by technical challenges and meaningful output that contributes to the company's objectives.
