Naturalist

~ Kateri Environmental Center offers creative, innovative environmental education programs for schools, scouts and the general public. ~

The programs cover a wide range of environmental topics while incorporating fun and adventure. We use the natural resources of Collier Youth Services' beautiful 260-acre campus, including ponds, streams, fields, and miles of woodland trails to engage and educate both young and old.

Position Overview

Kateri Environmental Center is seeking candiates for the postion of part-time Naturalist. 

Responsibilities  

• Plan and teach environmental education programs for schools, scouts and the general public.
• Assist with special events and fund raisers. 
• The position also includes preparing for, and working at, large public events.  

Qualifications  

Requirements:

• Excellent public speaking skills required.
• Minimum 1 year experience in Environmental Education is preferred.
