Description

~ Pacific Whale Foundation's (PWF) mission is to protect our oceans through science and advocacy. ~

The PWF promotes appreciation, understanding and protection of whales, dolphins, coral reefs and our planet's oceans. We accomplish this by educating the public -- from a scientific perspective -- about the marine environment.

PWF supports and conducts responsible marine research and addresses marine conservation issues in Hawaii and the Pacific.

Through PFW's educational ecotours, we model and promote sound ecotourism practices and responsible wildlife watching. We have educated nearly 3.5 million people about the marine environment through our ocean eco-adventure cruises, while also raising critally needed funds to support crucial whale and dolphin research studies, educational programs for adults and children, as well as important conservation programs, including our fight to stop commercial whaling.
