Position Overview  

The Corporate Responsibility Division is responsible for the development and implementation of the firm's CR agenda and initiatives by crafting goals, policies and initiatives that align with and support the firm's business strategies and operational objectives and support the communities where we do business.

The JPMorgan Corporate Responsibility Group is looking for an Oerations Associate to support technology platforms, vendor relationships, and the Third-Party Oversight program. 

Responsibilities  

Vendor relationship support / Third-Party Oversight Program support - Act as Delivery Manager for Corporate Responsibility engagements. Day-to-day responsibilities for managing a specific Third-Party Provider Engagement and perform a key role in the TPO Program inclusive of, but not limited to: 

  • Provide subject matter expertise regarding the product and service provided by the Third-Party Provider. 
  • Day-to-day operations management. 
  • Adhere to requirements of the TPO program. 
  • Establish measurable requirements for the Third-Party Provider, carry those metrics forward to Steady State. Monitoring and help ensure the Third-Party Provider maintains compliance. 
  • Timely communication of material changes regarding the Third-Party Provider, such as changes in management, deterioration of SLAs or other performance or risk issues, process and JPMC requirements to the TPMO and Executive Sponsor. 
  • Manage the overall performance of the Third-Party Provider delivery of products and/or services and performance against JPMC requirements as stated in the contract including negative news (e.g., reported in the media, high management turnover, etc.). 
  • Help ensure timely and successful resolution of any remediation plans identified by the assessment of the Third-Party Provider's controls for the Engagement.  

Change Management, Technology Platforms and process improvement: 

  • Accountable for all systems and other process improvement changes, working with partners to ensure compliance with state and federal regulatory requirements.
  • Work closely with vendors to seek technology solutions to optimize efficiency and effectiveness of business processes and operations.
  • Support technology projects including; design, scope, develop business requirements, Develop detailed project plans, prioritize, schedule, budget, evaluate, track, measure and implement all enhancements and/or integration of vendor application(s) with JPMC internal systems and platforms.
  • Provide ongoing, seamless support for technology platform including database design and administration, application-related problem resolution. Issue/risk mitigation and access administration support for all technology tools leveraged. 
  • Technology training: Responsible for the development of related training materials for staff and relevant JPMC stakeholders. 

Qualifications 

  • Requires a minimum of 3-5 years of relevant work experience.
  • Excellent communications and presentation skills, both verbal and written, required. 
  • Ability to implement projects to conclusion on time and within budget. 
  • Must have strong aptitude to analyze and develop solutions to solve problems. 
  • Must have outstanding excel skills 
  • Team-oriented - Demonstrated solid team player with strong ability to work independently. 
  • Detail-oriented - Must be disposed to the relentless pursuit of perfection and precise outcomes. 
  • Experience with website maintenance preferred, especially SharePoint. 
  • Knowledge of HTML, VBA a plus.
