Position Overview
MG2 is looking for a talented Project Manager / Sustainability Expert located in our Seattle office. This individual will serve both as a Project Manager and also act as the Sustainability expert for the firm.
Responsibilities
Project Management Responsibilities
- Serve both as a PM and act as the Sustainability expert for the firm
- Profitability of projects
- Implementation of project delivery
- Understand the design intent and goals for successful implementation
- Guidance and management of project team and activities, including consultants, along with design principal
- Assists principals with proposals / budget development
- Assists principals with project progress updates
- Provide guidance to project staff
- Maintain and nurture direct contact with clients
- Possesses full knowledge of contracts and expectations
Sustainability Responsibilities
- Craft our sustainability policies in conjunction with firm leadership
- Implement a sustainability training program and provide the training
- Act as an external presence in the community on sustainability issues
- Act as the in-house sustainability expert
- Provide oversight on sustainable-focused projects
Qualifications
- Bachelors or Masters in Architecture
- Architectural licensure is preferred
- LEED accredited
- 10+ years of architectural experience
- Experience with managing project schedules and budgets
- Proven expertise and involvement in building sustainability
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit preferred
- Ability to travel
