Position Overview

Community Conservation Solutions is seeking a skilled and energetic individual to provide organizational and administrative management and support for the President and staff. This position will be located in Los Angeles, CA.

The Administrative Resources Manager will work in a fast-paced environment requiring detail-oriented work, quick thinking, independence, and professionalism. Playing a key role in the team, the Administrative Resources Manager will ensure that all projects and programs proceed smoothly and efficiently and will manage the day-to-day needs of the office.

S/he will assist with the planning and execution of special events, aid in grant tracking and reporting, produce public relations materials, assist with social media, and manage the CCS contact database.

The ideal candidate will be self-motivated and organized with strong interpersonal skills, as s/he will directly interact with public agencies, funders, contractors, vendors, and the CCS Board of Directors. As a member of the Community Conservation Solutions team, the Administrative Resources Manager will be part of an established organization comprised of innovative, forward-thinking professionals with a proven track record.

Responsibilities & Primary Duties

The Administrative Resources Manager will perform the following and other duties as assigned: 

  • Assist the President and other team members with scheduling and coordination of meetings.
  • Be one of the social faces of the organization, communicating with the public, clients, vendors, and subcontractors.
  • Aid in the production and quality control of public relations materials, including Word, InDesign, Adobe, and PowerPoint documents. 
  • Assist with website updates, social media presence, and electronic newsletter.
  • Provide administrative and organizational support for CCS' programs and projects, fundraising, and events.
  • Manage hard copy and digital graphics, data, and word processing documents and files.
  • Maintain and manage contacts database.
  • Provide general organizational and operations support. 

Qualifications

The successful candidate will have the following minimum qualifications: 

  • 3+ years of experience in an office administrative or similar role
  • B.A. or B.S. degree (or equivalent experience in related field) 
  • Advanced knowledge of Outlook Office Suite, Adobe, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint 
  • Agility in working with graphic and media files in multiple formats and sizes
  • Proficiency with websites, including internet and web-based communication
  • Experience with developing and/or managing databases
  • Proficiency in PC-based systems and standard office machines
  • Knowledge of accounts payable/receivable a plus
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Comfort with working in a fast-paced environment 
  • Ability to work in a team and independently
  • Ability to prioritize tasks
  • A high degree of poise and professionalism, and a good sense of humor
