Position Overview
Great Forest is currently seeking a Summer 2015 intern to support our recycling and sustainability departments. We are seeking someone with a broad set of computer skills, a design sense (preferred), and a strong research background.
Responsibilities & Qualifications
- The ideal candidate will have a working knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite in order to assist Great Forest in updating and/or constructing new reporting templates, reformatting existing templates, making posters and white papers, etc.
- Knowledge of MS Word and Excel is ESSENTIAL.
- The internship also requires that the candidate be comfortable managing multiple research projects aimed at building out our database of recycling and sustainability knowledge.
- Additionally, intern duties will include regular office work such as filing, answering phones, etc.
Compensation: A small stipend is available, but there are no relocation or transportation reimbursements offered at this time, so NYC area applicants are preferred.
