Environmental Analyst

Position Overview  

ERG seeks an organized self-starter with an eye for detail and a passion for data-driven communication. We have an exciting opportunity to support energy efficiency and sustainability efforts in the federal government as part of a fast-paced team of young professionals.

Responsibilites 

• Benchmarking energy and water data;
• Promoting sustainability programs through education and outreach;
• Developing digital and website content; and
• Managing other client-driven tasks. 

Required Qualifications 

• Bachelor's degree in environmental studies, science, or economics;
• 5-7 years of professional experience;
• Fluency in Microsoft Office applications (particularly Excel and PowerPoint);
• Strong organizational and quality assurance skills; 
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present complex information in a manner that is understandable to a variety of audiences;
• Ability to handle multiple projects and clients;
• Familiarity with greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions accounting principles, renewable energy markets, building science and benchmarking concepts, waste streams and diversion rates, energy efficiency, or other sustainability topics; and
• Website/content management system experience. 

Compensation: Salary commensurate with experience and qualifications.
