Postion Overview

We have a client who is seeking a hands-on Environmental Manager who is directly involved on projects, while managing the team.

This position will manage the product flow and ensure inspections and testing are completed in concurrence with planned product flow. 

Qualifications  

• Must be a self-starter and posses a successful track record using statistical analysis to make decisions regarding overall quality and continuous improvement.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Bachelors Degree in Engineering or related filed and Metallurgical concentration.
• ASQ certified; Six Sigma Green/Black Belt preferred.
• 10+ years experience working within a quality function in a manufacturing or distribution environment.
• Experience using external programs such as VPP, ISO14001 and sustainability initiatives; computer proficient and exceptional organizational and management skills.
• Bonus eligible; occasional travel. Must be US Citizen or Perm Resident.
