Working Manager, Alternative Fuel Conversion

Position Overview 

American Alternative Fuel is seeking a hands on working manager for our operations in Coxsackie, NY. This individual will be responsible for the day to day operations of our alternative fuel conversion business. Our standard operating procedure is to worldwide source automotive alternative fuel conversion equipment to market to American fleets. 

Responsibilities 

• Establishing and maintaining vendor and customer relationships.
• Ensuring our equipment and installations maintain high quality and conform to EPA emissions, Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards, and other regulatory standards.
• Maintaining an adequate supply chain and inventory of components to satisfy market needs.
• Ensuring all departments function competently and efficiently, meeting goals for quality and productivity.
• Being accountable to the bottom line for sales volume and profitability. 

Qualifications 

• Skills and experience which would contribute positively to this position include a technical understanding of automotive systems, worldwide product sourcing, business to business marketing, general accounting principles, adherence to policy and procedures, and attention to detail.
• This will require a high energy, competent, and diversified individual that approaches the workplace with a positive can do attitude, who will put in whatever the hours and energy required to be successful.
