Position Overview 

Opinion Dynamics, a leading consulting firm specializing in energy-efficiency program evaluation and market research, is growing. As part of this growth, Opinion Dynamics is looking for a Research Coordinator to work with our energy research and consulting team. 

Responsibilities 

• The Research Coordinator will assist project managers and analysts with aspects of project logistics and administration. 
• The Research Coordinator will also be actively involved in data collection efforts, including in-depth interviewing and secondary research.
• Key responsibilities also include manipulation of large datasets, analysis of survey data, report writing and data presentation, and other market research and evaluation tasks as needed.
• Most projects will involve research regarding energy-efficiency. In addition, the Research Coordinator will assist with various marketing and administrative tasks as deemed necessary. 

Qualifications 

• The ideal candidate for this position is intelligent, motivated, eager to learn, and interested in research, as well as energy efficiency.
• In addition, strong candidates will have exceptional attention to detail and, experience manipulating and managing large data sets.
• Familiarity with SPSS or STATA is also beneficial, but not necessary.
• A Bachelors degree is required and we welcome applicants from all disciplines.
• Applicants should be comfortable both working with others as a member of a team and working independently.
• Candidates will also be expected to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
• This job is different every day, and requires someone who can quickly adapt to change.
