We are boldly leveraging our network to achieve this massive shift in society. At this critical juncture, we are preparing to add about 20 extraordinary entrepreneurs to our senior leadership in six regional hubs - Washington, D.C., London, Sao Paulo, Cairo, Nairobi, and Bangalore.

Position Overview

The opportunity to design and implement the financial and organizational systems that will allow Ashoka to navigate growth and operate as a fluid, global team and a model first-in-class Changemaker organization.

Ashoka has changed dramatically in the last few years. Part network, part movement, part consultant, part think tank, part investor, Ashoka is a hybrid value chain in and of itself.

Instead of a traditional programmatic matrix structure, we are morphing to an open, fluid team of teams, leveraging our assets to help individuals and institutions accelerate their impact and help the world achieve an Everyone a ChangemakerTM model. Our senior team members are active around the world seeing patterns, distilling principles, catalyzing collective action, encouraging more innovation and driving the adoption of a new framework of thinking.

We now need to find a brilliant, creative, systems architect to help us design our budgeting, planning, decision-making and investment to function in accordance with how we provide value. 

Responsibilities  

This person will have the opportunity to: 

• Design a financial and operational architecture that adapts to Ashoka's evolving needs and enables its emerging regional hub structure.
• Lead the finance team as the driver and facilitator of omnidirectional collaboration across Ashoka's teams.
• Partner with program and geographic leaders to address critical needs and develop new areas of work.
