Senior Renewable Energy Engineer

~ Lake Zurich, IL is home to the Renewable Energy sales and service facility of Bosch Rexroth Corporation, specializing in service and retrofitting of planetary gear box technology. ~ 

Position Overview  

Bosch Rexroth in Lake Zurich, IL has an immediate opportunity for a Renewable Energy Engineer / Senior. The Engineer is a customer focused position and is responsible for providing technical expertise to major Wind Energy OEMs and gear box repair/upgrades to Bosch Rexroth Lake Zurich Service Center. 

Responsibilities 

• Coordinates technical issues with the Renewable Energy team in Europe and Asia.
• Provides technical support to the Renewable Energy sales team.
• Completes market analysis and provides support to Renewable Energy management team.
• Domestic and international travel will be required. 

Qualifications 

Requirements 

• BS in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or 10 years equivalent experience.
• 10 plus years experience in gearbox design/service and support.
• Fluent in English. Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.
• Ability to develop new solutions to meet customer requirements.
• Microsoft Office experience required, SAP experience is beneficial.
• Wind Turbine and Gearbox manufacturing experience would be beneficial.
