Sales Manager

We design and manufacture products that power smartphones, tablets, digital cameras and laptops all over the world. Our customers are travelers, adventurers and DIY technologists looking to keep their devices powered up off the grid. We are based in New York, but we sell globally to over 30 different countries. 

Position Overview 

We are looking for an ambitious salesperson to round out the team. 

Responsibilities

Job Requirements: 

• Evaluate and develop both inbound and outbound sales leads
• Communicate consistently with and process orders from existing customer base
• Maintain and track customer pipeline
• Research potential new customers and market sectors to develop new sales targets
• Educate all potential and current customers on how solar can be used to solve power scarcity
• Continually problem solve to help improve Voltaic Systems' customer service and product offering 

Qualifications 

• Experience and proven ability to successfully sell consumer products via phone and email
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excitement to take responsibility for the entire sales process
• Strong prioritization and time management skills
• Proficient with standard corporate productivity tools
• Interest in travel, outdoor activities and having an environmental impact are big pluses
