Position Overview
AFF
seeks a Senior Director, Woodland Owner Marketing, to join the
dedicated and committed AFF team.
Responsibilities
- Reporting to the Executive Vice President of
Woodlands, the Senior Director leads a team of marketing and communications
professionals who work to engage woodland owners across AFF’s program areas,
including conservation, certification, sustainable forestry, advocacy, and
development. - In collaboration with the Director of Communications, the Senior
Director of Woodland Owner Marketing develops and implements a marketing
strategy offering woodland engagement services to a variety of partners. - Finally, the Senior
Director evaluates and analyzes the performance of woodland owner marketing
efforts to create an environment that values continuous learning and knowledge
management from all campaign activities.
Qualifications
- The
ideal candidate will be a visionary leader who is able to develop and implement
a comprehensive marketing strategy for a significant program or large
department. - The Senior Director of Woodland Owner Marketing
will have previous experience in direct response marketing and crafting
integrated marketing strategies across a variety of channels and touch points,
including website, print communications, online communications, and direct
mail. - The
successful candidate will demonstrate a strong commitment to AFF’s mission,
with a passion for forests and conservation. - An individual who can collaborate
with other team members, and model independent initiative and resiliency will
be successful in this role. - The new Senior Director has proven leadership
capabilities that create a unified and structured environment for an eager team
of staff members and volunteers.
