~ Manitowoc Public Utilities (MPU) is a municipality-owned electric and water utility serving approximately 16,400 accounts in the City of Manitowoc, Wisconsin. ~
The Utility employs approximately 85 full time employees. About 55 of the full time employees are represented by Local No. 420 of the International Union of Operating Engineers.
Position Overview
MPU is seeking applications for the position of Distribution Superintendent.
Responsibilities
- The Distribution Superintendent will plan, prioritize, and supervise work performed by electric utility line technicians and contractors to construct, operate, and maintain electric power distribution facilities and related equipment.
Qualifications
- A minimum eight years of experience as a Journeyman Lineman is required. Supervisory experience is preferred.
