Executive Director

~ Our Task's mission-is to empower and mobilize young adults to lead a movement toward a more sustainable future by training them to be informed, effective global leaders. ~

We envision a shift in global civilization in which institutional and individual values are redirected from unsustainable consumption toward a mutually enhancing relationship between humans and Earth.

Position Overview

Our Task seeks a new Executive Director to embody the mission and vision of the organization. The Executive Director position is a volunteer (unpaid) position, providing an opportunity for an outgoing, passionate person to help implement an inspiring Earth 2100 Conference and a one-week course on sustainability.

The Executive Director will also have opportunities to fundraise, network, and collaborate on strategic plans to build a stronger organization. This position involves networking with likeminded organizations and people to build partnerships and excitement in an effort to create a more sustainable world!

Responsibilities

• The Executive Director will work closely with, and mentor, the Deputy Director, interns, and volunteers. 
• The Executive Director will also have opportunities to fundraise, network, and collaborate on strategic plans to build a stronger organization.
• This position involves networking with likeminded organizations and people to build partnerships and excitement in an effort to create a more sustainable world!

Qualifications

• The ideal candidate will have experience and demonstrated success in program and/or organizational management, fundraising, basic accounting or financial management, an inclination for networking, and great interpersonal communication.
