Position Overview:

Under the direction of the Campus Energy Manager, the Energy Analyst directs, creates, prepares, designs, plans, estimates, reviews, recommends, and implements energy efficiency projects. The position incorporates a wide range of job specific and technical skills.

The Energy Analyst is proficient with the programming and deployment of a wide array of energy auditing tools and techniques and able to use those findings to support the Campus' energy efficiency projects, from inception to completion. The Energy Analyst supports the Energy Department in a multitude of ways - some of those duties include collecting metering data for the Campus utilities and billing for those utilities.


Qualifications include:
 

  • Knowledge of an architectural and engineering operation including methodology and terminology, with excellent administrative and problem solving skills. 
  • An understanding of the language, organization, and content of plans, shop drawings, product literature and other construction-related documents key to the Energy Manager and Project Management in the processing, distributing, archiving, and retrieval of information related to projects.  
  • Familiarity with relevant codes, (e.g. Title 24). 
  • Familiarity with sustainable design and "green" building principles. 
  • Knowledge of current policies, applicable laws and common practices in the design and maintenance of buildings and utilities of a large complex organization. 

Compensation: Starting salary range is $20.35-$30.50/hourly. Salary commensurate with qualifications and experience.Position is open until filled.
