Position Overview:

The Client Services team manages Opower's software deployments, ongoing client engagements and client relationships. Made up of engagement managers, technical project managers, quantitative analysts, researchers and professional services engineers, this rare combination of MBAs and computer scientists is in charge of managing our day-to-day relationships with our utility clients and making sure our product is properly deployed, optimized, and continually upgraded within a client's service territory to drive maximum customer engagement and energy efficiency gains.

We are looking for a smart, analytical, high-horsepower Analyst to help define and support our contracting, pricing, engagement tracking and reporting processes, a critical function supporting our continued growth.

Responsibilities:

  • You will help draft Statements of Work (SOWs) and change orders for existing clients and new prospects, and ensure that SOWs are internally reviewed by internal stakeholders and management. You will help provide pricing support for custom operations pricing and, over-time, take ownership of our services and operations pricing process.
  • Support search for 3rd-party data providers for international clients and over-time, solely manage this ongoing initiative.
  • Provide contracting support for both domestic and international clients.
  • Help build and maintain library of contracting templates.
  • Help create and implement new processes to deliver a more efficient and effective SOW contracting process, including scaling up to support the growth of the business across new markets, products and services.
  • Develop and deliver training as needed in Engagement Strategy processes.
  • Provide CRM support for the Engagement Management Team.
  • Help maintain accurate SOW tracking information in our CRM database.
  • Assist with custom scoping requirements for clients.

Qualifications:

  • This is an ideal job for a motivated Analyst with 2-4 years of relevant experience seeking diverse operational experience in a fast growing, young software-as-service company.
  • A strong internal customer focus, with a tremendous work ethic.
  • Strong written and analytical skills.
  • Strong Word and Excel experience.
  • An eye towards continuous process improvement.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally across a variety of tasks and be comfortable working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts and processes in writing.
  • Software-as-a-Service and/or energy sector experience is preferred, but not essential.
