Graphic Illustrator/Visualization Artist

This is a creative position that requires a strong combination of both design and technical skills. You'll work closely with internal staff and clients to help develop their ideas into visual concepts. The environment is challenging, fast paced and fun.  

Responsibilities: 

• Create presentation materials utilizing Adobe Suite and 3-D modeling software.
• Prepare concept illustrations for planning, landscape, and architectural designs in plan, elevation and perspective views with minimal instruction.
• Incorporate graphics into presentation boards, documents and digital formats using print media techniques as well as digital publishing (including web) methods.
• Provide other graphic design, presentation materials and project related services as needed.
• Experience in Google Sketch-Up would be considered an asset. 

Qualifications:

• Preference will be given to applicants with 1-3 years experience, however, new grads are encouraged to apply.
• Strong working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite is mandatory, knowledge of 3D modelling softward is considered an asset. (3D Studio Max, Google Sketch-up, Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Flash etc.)
• Bachelor's degree in design, animation, graphic arts or related areas considered an asset.
• Proven and demonstrated artistic ability and technical skillset, preferably in illustration and visualization of built environments.
• Ability to develop Motion Graphics (animated videos) would be considered a bonus.
• Demonstrated proficiency with the principles of graphic design including, layout, rendering, transitions, color theory, graphic style and the dynamics of vibrant composition.
• Strong eye for design and innovation, able to bring new ideas to the table.
• Ability to set and achieve high creative standards.
• Ability to work independently with a history of high-end aesthetic and technical execution.
