Position Overview:

The primary purpose of the role is to provide the management of assigned power related projects including, but not limited to turnkey construction projects. The Project Manager (PM) is the customer advocate who manages the fixed pricing of the project to the cost and delivery schedule. The role requires someone who can influence employees assigned project tasks and influence the relationship between the customer and client.
The role requires an individual who is proactive in problem solving identification, recommendation, and resolution to resolve issues affecting the performance of the project.
Responsibilities:
Key high level stages for this role's responsibilities are:
- Proposal: assist in providing construction costs and manage the preliminary design process as it pertains to the solution of bids.
- Project Award: customer interface for engineering, procurement, delivery and construction issues.
- Engineering & Fabrication: serve as the primary point of contact for written & verbal communication between company and the customer.
- Contract/Construction: serve as the primary point of contact for technical issues.
- Start-up and Close Out: Coordinates the start-up, commissioning and training.
- The PM identifies risks through contract review and develops mitigation plans.
- Manage commercial aspects of the contract.
- Manage project cost and provide reports detailing cash flow, cost forecast and budget variances.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 10 years experience in Project Engineering, Construction Management or Project Management with significant experience in the power industry.
- Solar or Wind Construction Experience
- Demonstrated experience in project cost estimating, project management, construction management and familiar with contracts, insurance, letters of credit and bonds.
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or other related field from an accredited 4 year program or equivalent years of experience as noted above.
Compensation: $90k - $110k, commensurate with experience; full benefits, and relocation package if needed.
