Description

We are looking for 2 Community Engagement and Ecological Restoration interns to work in a dynamic, community-based, ecological restoration program based in the Redwood Creek Watershed.  This watershed is located in Marin County, in the San Francisco Bay Area's Golden Gate National Recreation Area.

Position Overview:

The internship supports the outreach, volunteer management, and service-learning components of the restoration program.  This involves organization and coordination of educational programs and specialized volunteer workdays for youth, adults, school groups, corporate groups, and community organizations.

Terms:

  • Application deadline: September 7 2012, or until position is filled.
  • Desired start date: October 1, 2012
  • Length of Position: 10 months to 1 year.
  • Schedule: Tues-Sat schedule, full-time, with occasional exceptions.
