Position Overview:
We are seeking a star player to take an assertive role in operations, and support our project management team. The ideal candidate knows how to create systems and solve existing problems, to be able to listen and understand the needs of the other team members, while implementing protocols to sustain and grow the success of the company. Superior organizational and communication skills are essential to this position.

Responsibilities:
- Maintaining and organizing account receivables and payables.
- Maintaining and organizing project documents such as insurance, lien releases, etc.
- Assisting in the maintenance of firm and project financials.
- Preparing quality take-offs and estimates through UDA estimating software.
- Preparing and updating of project schedules through UDA scheduling software.
- Drafting and submitting project proposals, estimates, and lien releases for projects.
- Assisting in subcontractor outreach and bidding.
- Maintain, organize and manage the office in terms of filing, supplies, cleaning and minor computer issues. Knowledge of Windows, Mac, Dropbox, Google software and social media will be necessary, and aptitude to learn.
- Provide support and leadership to the company through your role as office manager.
- This is a small organization and it will be necessary to wear multiple hats including working with potential or existing clients.
- This is a basic overview only. The position will require a variety of related responsibilities.
Qualifications:
- Previous bookkeeping experience with Quickbooks online or Quickbooks. Construction management software experience is important.
- The ability to read construction drawings and specifications.
- Bachelor's degree preferred, but will consider Junior/Senior level students in related fields of study.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Programs and Quickbooks. Experience with Construction Management software. UDA experience is preferred.
- Math and formula proficiency including spreadsheet calculations and totals.
- Must be able to work both independently and on multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to stay focused and adapt quickly when unexpected tasks arise.
- Demonstrate consistent productivity with a desire to complete tasks in an accurate and highly efficient manner.
- Needs to be persistent and creative with suppliers and subcontractors to achieve the desired outcome as quickly as possible.
- Must have good communication skills and be highly organized.
- Must be locally based.
- Interest and knowledge in the Green Building profession a plus.
- Customer service experience preferred.
- 1-4 years residential construction experience is preferred.
