KACO began manufacturing sine inverters more than 60 years ago. The product portfolio offered by KACO today is being used around the globe for rail vehicle and photovoltaic applications.  KACO new energy begins in 2010 as the world's second largest manufacturer of photovoltaic inverters.  With over 3 GW of inverters in operation worldwide KACO is a trusted and reliable partner for photovoltaic systems across the globe.

Position Overview:

The Product Manager is responsible for the implementation of the Company's strategic plan for the inverter product line.  The Product Manager will be required to synthesize market requirements into effective marketing strategies and tactics and will be involved in all stages of a product's lifecycle.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinates new product launches and product updates.
  • Present to customers and provide continuing support to sales team.
  • Program/project management of regulatory and compliance at a global level.
  • Interface with customers for technical and business requirements.
  • Review design specifications of customer.
  • Interpret NEC/IBC code, including complete utility requirements.
  • Develop rolling multi-year strategic plan with product sales forecasts.
  • Draft technical documents on product applications and solutions.
  • Develop and implement training for Sales and CST teams.

Qualifications:

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Broad understanding of solar industry and products.
  • NEC Electrical Code knowledge.
  • Ability to interpret construction documents.
  • Strong business acumen.
  • Ability to quickly and thoroughly follow up on commitments.
  • Possess strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Superior organizational, planning, and coordination skills with attention to detail
  • Strong computer literacy with ability to use Windows, including Microsoft Office & AutoCad.

Education/Experience:

Bachelors Degree. 3 years minimum experience in solar, renewable energy, or power engineering.

Certifications/licenses:

Must have US Passport and be able to travel out of the country.  Travel up to 50% of time.  Employee must maintain valid US drivers' license.

Work Environment:

The physical demands of this position are limited to those found in a normal office environment and the position may work from a home office. Employee is constantly required to talk, hear and sit.  The employee is frequently required to drive, stand, walk and type.  The employee must routinely lift up to 50 pounds.  Position requires a flexible schedule, as evening or weekend work may be required.  This position requires frequent domestic and possible international travel.
