Position Overview: 

We are looking to expand our already solid client base in the following areas: Property Management Companies, Financial Institutions and Hotels.  To assist with this initiative, we are looking for an experienced, motivated Sales Rep who is committed to sustainability and is excited to join our dynamic team.  Qualified candidates should have a solid understanding of the sales cycle, as well as previous corporate sales success.

Responsibilities:

  • Sales of our sustainability and waste/recycling program management services to our target market.
  • Generate, manage and follow up on qualified sales leads.
  • Communicate professional and effectively with prospective clients.
  • Schedule preliminary web-based or phone interviews in partnership with the Director of Sales & Marketing.
  • Prepare proposals and present to prospective clients.
  • Manage follow-up with prospective clients.
  • Prepare detailed monthly sales reports for Director of Sales & Marketing.
  • Represent Great Forest in a professional manner at all times.
  • Participate in marketing and networking events.

Qualifications:

  • College Degree, preferably in Sales, Marketing or other relevant coursework.
  • A minimum of 3+ years experience in successful corporate sales position.
  • A commitment and general understanding of sustainability.
  • Strong knowledge in Excel, Power Point, Word, Skype, etc.
  • Solid communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A passion for sales and a strong drive to build a solid client base.
  • A proactive, self-starter able to work independently.
  • Must be mature, well-spoken and professional.
