Description
The Fund for Lake George, an environmental not-for-profit dedicated to the protection of Lake George and sponsor of the Lake George Waterkeeper, is seeking an Executive Director.
Position Overview:
As chief executive officer of the organization, the Executive Director leads a staff of 3 and, within operating guidelines from the Board, is responsible for program implementation, advocacy, fundraising, outreach, promotion and publishing as well as legal compliance.
Qualifications:
Position requirements include undergraduate degree, a minimum of 10 years experience in management of a not-for-profit, excellent communication and organizational skills and demonstrated success with development and fund-raising (click here for complete requirements and position description).
Compensation: Salary range for the position is $90,000 - $125,000, commensurate with qualifications and experience; benefits include health insurance and retirement plan programs.
