Ehrlich Architects is a 25 person firm located in Culver City, CA.  Known for distinctive modern design, our work includes a range of projects including high-end residential, civic, educational, retail and commercial, with a focus on design-build and sustainable practices.

Position Overview:

Ehrlich Architects is looking for a highly organized and motivated Office Manager/Administrative Assistant to oversee the daily operations of its Culver City office as well as support the Principal Executives and Marketing Director.

Responsibilities:

  • provide administrative support to Principal Executives including drafting emails, arranging travel, scheduling meetings and maintaining electronic calendars
  • Receptionist (answer main line phone calls), greet guests, manage incoming packages and mail
  • assist Marketing Director in preparing responses to RFPs and RFQs, collecting project data and maintaining the marketing database
  • light Human Resources duties including new employee/intern orientation
  • take inventory and maintain all office supplies
  • liaison for all vendors relating to office functionality
  • responsible for coordinating all office maintenance
  • meeting set-up and catering
  • register employees for industry events and conferences, including all travel arrangements
  • manage architecture licenses to ensure they are current
  • maintain a professional and organized working environment including reception area, conference rooms, kitchen, copy and storage room

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience (minimum of 3-5 years office managerial and/or administrative assistant experience)
  • Highly organized and detail oriented
  • Strong ability to work well under pressure and prioritize responsibilities
  • Must be able to handle multiple projects and deadlines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Team player - always open to help others even if it's not on your specific job description
  • Ability to work independently (in addition to team environment)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel) and Adobe Acrobat Pro
  • a 2-year minimum commitment is preferred for this position as it is a critical position in the operation of the firm
