The District of Columbia Sustainable Energy Utility (DC SEU) is designed to help District households, businesses, and institutions save energy and money through energy efficiency and renewable energy programs.
Position Overview:
The Director of Residential Energy Services oversees all aspects of DC SEU's Residential Energy Services work including the development and delivery of energy efficiency services and programs to residential single family and multifamily customers in the District of Columbia. The Director of Residential Energy Services oversees the development and proactive implementation of strategic plans and initiatives, while contributing to a mission-driven, creative, enjoyable and stimulating work environment.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field plus at least 10 years of professional experience.
- Minimum of 5 years in a leadership role with demonstrated abilities of facilitation, employee motivation, change management, staff supervision, contracts, budget management, communications and driving goals. 5 years of business management is desirable.
- Broad understanding of building systems, building energy use, building construction and energy analysis techniques.
