Description
The mission of our tea lounge is to spread happiness to all guests by sharing high quality loose leaf tea and complementary small plates made in an environment that encourages the enjoyment of the tea experience and the nourishment of the soul. The establishment is cozy with seating for 15 guests. Prepared food to go will also be available. The space is designed so that guests can experience peaceful tea tastings and pairings in a visually pleasing atmosphere.
Position Overview:
Those applying for positions will be reliable, open-minded, energetic team players who are passionate about tea and interested in incorporating it into the food they prepare. They will have a strong interest in healthy foods and a desire to use food to spread well-being. The applicant will also be enthusiastic about the opportunity to build an environment from the ground up. This may, at times, require creativity, the ability to multi-task and to take initiative. It will also be necessary to work on weekends.
Applicant will:

Responsibilities:
- food prep, cooking and baking
- sourcing food sustainably and locally
Qualifications:
This opportunity is available to any individual with the ability to cook and bake, and who has had some experience cooking in a professional setting. An interest in tea is a must. An interest in community supported agriculture, organic food and local farming is a plus. The person in this position will need to work weekends.
