Description

We create new technologies and solutions for monitoring and controlling energy. For battery charging systems, welding technology and solar electronics. While others develop gradually, we innovate in leaps and bounds by shifting the limits of what`s possible.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for supporting the sales process by providing technical knowledge, designing system installation parameters for routine and complex configurations and installations of Fronius product to clients and potential clients. Evaluates client needs for upgrades or upsells of current or new installations of varying complexity
  • Works independently with clients and potential clients, providing product guidance, support and addressing installation of product usability issues of routine to high complexity
  • Customizing training documentation for new and existing clients
  • Participates in trade shows and providing product and technical guidance and support to regional and national events
  • Support clients with system design and service calls
  • Providing email and telephone support for complex solar inquiries and problems
  • Co-facilitates presentations or develops proposals, conducts demonstrations, acting as the technical expert
  • Continuous communication with Solar Division staff to share information, resolve issues and promote a positive team environment

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Bachelor Degree with engineering, sales or marketing related emphasis or 2- 4 years experience in the field
  • 3 years technical sales, product line management or marketing experience, preferably in photovoltaic's, power electronics or related industry
  • Excellent written, verbal, presentation, public speaking and negotiation skills
  • Knowledge of the National Electrical Code
  • Excellent diagnostic and analytical skills, in person or by telephone
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to meet deadlines
  • Ability to travel throughout the U.S. and internationally as required
  • Current Passport and valid motor vehicle operator license
  • Strong technical understanding on solar power systems and inverter technologies a significant asset
  • Knowledge of German and/or Spanish a plus
  • Understanding and promoting the Fronius Principles

General Skills:

  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook
  • Proficient in computer use for research and professional development
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and telephone etiquette
