Description
The T.C. Chan Center for Building Simulation and Energy Studies is a non-profit Center engaged in the creation (research), application (consulting) and dissemination (communication) of knowledge. The mission of the Center is to develop new knowledge, tools, processes, techniques and continuing education for professionals involved in building energy and technology. The goal is to create healthier, productive, energy efficient strategies that will lead to high performance buildings and sustain(able) environments.
Position Overview:
The T.C. Chan Center for Building Simulation and Energy Studies is seeking a full-time research associate with a background in green building practices to participate in the development of a sustainable rating system.
Responsibilities:
Responsibilities include researching and analyzing existing rating systems and communicating results to the team.
Qualifications:
Potential applicants must be organized and detailed oriented and have excellent written and verbal communication skills. The position is a temporary contract position lasting 6 months after which time, the candidate will be evaluated for permanent status.
