Public Relations Specialist

This is an exciting opportunity to join an exceptional company as a Public Relations Specialist located in Saint Paul, Minnesota.

Position Overview:

To assist in the development and implementation of company marketing, communications, public relations and customer service. Ensure that the organization's customer, community, print, and online presence is consistent with its brand strategies.

Qualifications:

• B.A. or B.S. in Marketing/Communications/Journalism/Business/Environmental Science or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in communications, marketing, community relations, government affairs, environmental affairs or public policy. A minimum of 1 year of experience should be within the science, energy and/or environmental field.
• Excellent copyright and web writing skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills and experience fostering interpersonal, business and intergovernmental relationships.
• Proven success working with teams, using collaboration to meet project goals.
• Demonstrated ability to coordinate and manage complex projects involving competing interests and multiple objectives, effectively represent diverse interests, and objectively evaluate alternative approaches.
