Alta Energy, Inc. is a privately-held development stage company with the vision of creating the leading marketplace for renewable energy solutions for the commercial market. We provide tracking and advisory services for commercial property owners and enterprises, and qualified deployment auction services for renewable energy vendors. We do this through our proprietary databases, uniquely tailored products & services, and sophisticated technology, thereby creating a win-win scenario for both the property owner and the vendors.
Position Overview:
The Company is currently hiring enterprising individuals to assist with Alta Energy's rapid growth. Ideal candidates should have several years (3 years minimum) of work experience in sales and marketing, preferably in solar or other renewable energy industries, and a strong interest in alternative energy fields. A background in marketing, environmental studies or economics is helpful.
The Acquisitions Director will be responsible for securing new clients for the Company, including marketing to prospective clients, preparation of client presentations, proposals and agreements, and coordination of client information among Alta Energy team members. Reporting to the VP of Acquisitions, this position is key to the Company's fast-growing business.
Responsibilities:
- Prospecting for new clients via all communication channels
- Involvement with target marketing strategies, including newsletters and conferences
- Preparation of client presentations and proposals
- Negotiation and procurement of client agreements
- Coordination of information and logistics among clients and internal team
Qualifications:
Skills required: MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and familiarity with Salesforce and WebEx are a plus. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, and a proven track record in client acquisition are required. Candidate must also be a team player, organized problem solver and an independent self-starter with excellent follow through.
Education Level: Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics or Marketing is preferred, and a minimum of 3 year's sales and marketing experience, preferably in solar energy, is desired.
Compensation: Negotiable - will be Base plus Commissions structure
Hours: 40 hours per week/Monday-Friday at Alta Energy's San Mateo office
