Located in Princeton, New Jersey, JZA+D was founded in 2006 by principal Joshua Zinder. The practice functions as a multidisciplinary team that shares sustainable and contemporary design aesthetics and aspirations. The collective educational and professional experience of our staff spans over 40 years, across borders, and embraces architecture, interiors, product, furniture, and graphic design. Position Overview:
Architecture and design firm in Princeton, NJ seeks architects with 2-10 years experience.
Qualifications:
To be considered for this position, applicant's qualifications must include:
- BArch, MArch or equivalent degree
- Strong design portfolio required
- Strong AutoCAD and 3DS MAX skills
- Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign
- Rhino and BIM knowledge a plus
- Strong graphic and rendering abilities
- Excellent visual, verbal and written communication skills
- Responsive and dependable to meet deadlines
Additional qualities we are looking for include:
- Ability to effectively manage a project team, coordinate with consultants, and develop strong client relationships
- Broad knowledge of materials, systems and details
- Familiarity with sustainable design concepts and the LEED rating system
