Position Overview:
The Project Director will be responsible for managing the U.S. Department of Labor Trade Adjustment Act Community College and Career Training (TAACCCT) statewide grant and ensuring all project deliverables are met in a timely manner, and reported accurately to the U.S. Department of Labor and statewide stakeholders. In addition, The Project Director will coordinate the work of the partner hub community colleges and additional staff hired required to complete this project to create 30+ online hybrid green certificate and degree programs.
Qualifications:
- A Master's degree in environmental studies, higher education, business administration, or related field, and 7 years experience in the green economy field.
- Extensive experience leading large-scale initiatives.
- Experience managing federal grant programs.
- Demonstrated success in managing a multi-million dollar budget.
- Excellent supervisory, organizational and training skills.
- Skills in program development and execution.
- Skills in coordinating activities, evaluating data, and establishing priorities.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to analyze problems and make well-reasoned, sound decisions.
- Understanding of educational technologies and online platforms for course development and implementation.
