Description
SVTC provides its novel-silicon development customers access to two state-of-the-art, IP-secure development fabs - in San Jose, California, and Austin, Texas - with a full complement of 200 mm (8-inch) and 300 mm (12-inch) advanced CMOS and MEMS fabrication equipment, designed to speed the development of best-of-class solutions
SVTC supports its fab access by offering development tools, sophisticated analytics capabilities and commercialization services as needed, so customers can more rapidly translate their innovative silicon concepts into reality.
Position Overview:
Manage government relationships (State & Federal) and strategic projects.
Responsibilities:
Manage DOE, PG&E and other funding processes, Special strategic project development in solar / renewable energy sector.
Qualifications:
Attributes Required to be Successful:
Interpersonal Skills:
- Connect to government officials and being able to understand complex funding and sourcing scenarios.
- Ability to manage complex business projects.
Communication Skills:
- Ability to give presentations to government officials, advocate groups, customers and investors.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Technical Skills:
- General technical understanding about solar/renewable energy technologies, high-tech funding scenarios, reporting structure and presentation.
Professional Skills:
- Ability to manage larger programs in the technology sector.
Other Attributes:
- Open communicator internal / external.
Knowledge/Skills/Training Required:
MBA / BA with 10+ years of business experience in high-tech sector preferable renewable energy sector.
Other Special Conditions/Requirements:
- Travel will be required (30%)
- No relocation will be provided for this position.
