Tecmer, Inc's President, Thomas R. Drake has 30+ years of experience in utility and construction management. His hands on experience includes managing all disciplines of professional engineering and design services, craft labor management and technician support services in the performance of operation support activities. In addition, Tecmer's President is a fluent Spanish speaker with extensive experience working with power facilities in Mexico.
Position Overview:
Tecmer is hiring experienced, qualified energy auditors.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct level I, II, III energy audits per ASHRAE standards and whole-building energy modeling of multiple asset types including commercial, retail, medical, and multi-family residential facilities.
- Develop best practices and templates for energy audits reports, energy modeling, and project implementation.
- Work with and manage sub-contractors to conduct energy audits, energy modeling, and analytical evaluation of results.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree in Engineering and at least 4 years experience in energy efficiency, or Master's degree in Engineering and 2 years of related experience.
- Certified Energy Manager or EIT a plus.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, math and problem solving skills.
- Ability to work both independently and in a team environment. Experience with Federal government facilities is a plus.

- Energy analysis of building systems, including HVAC systems, chillers, boilers, variable speed drive applications
- Building Automation Systems
- Building Envelop
- Lighting Systems
- Identifying, estimating and recommending energy performance projects
- Identifying and applying for federal, state, utility energy rebates and incentives
