Our Energy Network Operations Center (EnerNOC) supports these applications across thousands of C&I customer sites throughout the world. Position Overview:
EnerNOC, a leading provider of demand response energy efficiency solutions, has an immediate opening for a Business Development Manager to join our Southwest regional sales team. In this role, you will apply expert sales mechanics and an intimate knowledge of end user energy usage to growing our world-class business in Texas. While you will be tasked with becoming a subject matter expert in our Demand Response solution, as we continue to expand our suite of innovative energy service offerings, you will have opportunities to cross-sell new products to an existing customer network.

Responsibilities:
As a Business Development Manager, based in Houston or Dallas, TX, your primary mission is to evangelize EnerNOC's Demand Response product and drive revenue for the company. Your inherent "hunter" mentality and lead generation expertise will enable you to quickly identify and qualify sales opportunities to build and maintain a pipeline for new business. Proven success navigating complex sales will be key to consulting with our DR customers and generating proposals to meet their unique energy management needs.
Qualifications:
This position will require you to be comfortable demonstrating precise value propositions and effectively illustrating ROI to C-level decision-makers, as well as interacting with facilities managers and engineers to present a Demand Response proposal that meets their individual operational needs; for that reason, previous experience selling into large commercial or industrial end users would be an asset to your candidacy.
