Ingeteam, a worldwide company headquartered in Bilbao, Spain, is a market leader specializing in electrical engineering and the development of electrical equipment, motors, generators and frequency converters. We primarily serve 4 key sectors including energy, industry, marine & rail traction, seeking to optimize energy consumption whilst maximizing generating efficiency. The Milwaukee, WI facility focuses on the renewable energy industry & produce Indar wind power generators, Ingeteam converters and solar power inverters for the North American market.

In this way maximum performance is achieved by facilitating commissioning, performing comprehensive maintenance & supporting the wind farm management and operations. This position reports to our Services Business Unit.
Responsibilities:
Ingeteam is over 3,700 strong and eager to welcome new, dedicated colleagues. This individual reports to our Services Business Unit, and will be primary responsible for:
- Imparting training on maintenance, engineering, instructions, electrical panels, generators, substations, and high-voltage systems
- Conducting studies and researching measure for improvement and new corrective, preventative, and predictive activities
- Drafting technical reports, determining equipment and mechanisms needed for the different maintenance operation and client requests
- Promoting environmental management
- Ensuring a safe work environment
Qualifications:
Requires:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
- Ability to evaluate and improve the efficiency of technicians and specialists in the area
- Ability to evaluate and improve work procedures
- Ability to use maintenance statistics in order to improve preventive, corrective and predictive maintenance processes.
- Knowledge necessary to interpret electrical diagrams. Advanced knowledge of hydraulics/electrohydraulics
- Analyze and create action plans and indicators regarding maintenance and operation.
- Ability to write down specifications, technical reports and technical documentation using technician analyses and other sources.
- Audit work processes
- Advanced knowledge of hydraulics/electrohydraulics
- Social skills necessary for personnel management
These additional skills are a plus:
- Advanced knowledge of diagnostics through vibration analysis
- Knowledge of composite materials and their application to wind turbine blades
- Knowledge of gears and bearings used in the powertrain of a wind turbine
- Knowledge of oils and other lubricants used in the wind energy sector
- Knowledge and handling of computer systems: SAP-ERP, GMAO
