Position Overview:

The Sales Manager position will be responsible for scoping and delivering solutions to new and existing clients and prospects. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a strong technical acumen and business knowledge.

Responsibilities:

  • Pipeline management
  • Relationship building with new organizations
  • Works with Finance Manager to set quarterly and annual sales targets
  • Gathers and assesses client needs, both business and technical
  • Writes proposals
  • Manages presentations
  • Contract preparation
  • Ensures proper handoff of new projects to Project Team
  • Salesforce administration
  • Oversight of contracts, signing authority
  • Product development and business development
  • Lead generation and lead follow-up
  • Networking
  • Build client loyalty
  • Collaborate with partners and like-minded competitors for new business

Qualifications:

  • Ability to clearly communicate technical features/advantages/benefits to clients in government, non-profits, education, and businesses, large and small
  • Excellent listening and customer service skills
  • Enthusiasm for technology
  • Strong sales and negotiation skills
  • Outstanding spoken and written communication skills
  • Highly confident and professionally assertive individual that can instill confidence in customers and team members
  • Minimum 5 years experience of sales in a related technology field

Candidate must possess the unique combination of the driven, sales-oriented professional who is able to meet quarterly sales goals, as well as a passion for sustainability, collaboration, and making a difference.
