Position Overview:
Reporting to the Vice President, Sales and Marketing, the Sales Executive is responsible for all activities related to conceptualizing and implementing the sales strategy and achieving sales targets within the specified sales channel(s) or region(s).
Responsibilities:
- Meets established sales quotas and revenue goals
- Develops sales leads and meets with key potential clients
- Progresses opportunities and negotiates deal close
- Coordinates and prepares sales presentations with technical team
- Build and maintain strong relationships, identify and understand key stakeholder priorities
- Assists in setting the strategic direction for the sales function; develops and adopts a sales philosophy
- Develops and implements campaign strategies and planning for relevant sales channel(s) or region(s)
- Maintains up-to-date understanding of industry trends, technical developments, and competitor activity that effect target markets
- Produces regular reports regarding prospect lists, sales calls, opportunity odds, deal progression and other relevant sales targets
Qualfications:
- 8+ years of professional solutions and/or enterprise selling experience with demonstrated skill progression
- Demonstrated deal progression and close, negotiation and business development abilities
- Strong motivation to develop and meet aggressive sales targets and rigorous sales process discipline
- Strong presentation skills including development of technical presentations, approach documents, influence cases
- Ability to prepare and deliver oral presentations articulating a leadership position to C-Suite and other senior leaders
- Ability to successfully collaborate with many and varied personality types towards a mutually beneficial outcome
- A bachelors degree in allied field or equivalent
- A collaborative, solutions-oriented working style
- Flexible and nimble in response to change
- A sense of humor and knack for innovation, rigorous problem solving, and negotiating positive results
- Ability to travel 40%
