Solar Mosaic is a platform that anyone can use to create solar projects and finance them from their communities. Solar Mosaic connects people who want to go solar with the buildings that have the ideal roofs and space to go solar. Mosaics are works of art where many pieces come together to form a whole. With Solar Mosaics, many people come together to build community solar projects.

Position Overview:

Solar Mosaic is looking for a new media and online organizing superhero with a passion for social change to help us nurture and support our growing community of supporters. We believe every one of our customers and supports is a hero and we want all of them to know it.

Through our social networking presence, mass email, customer support systems and new media work you will help to ensure that everyone we work with feels the love and passion that is at the core of our company. If you're ready to be a leader in the community solar movement, this might be the job for you.

Responsibilities:

• Supporting and Growing our Community of Supporters
• Writing and Sending Email Updates to our Members
• Managing our Supporter Databases
• Ensuring Prompt and Friendly Customer Support
• Growing our Social Networking Presence
• Managing our Company Blog
• Online Media Communications (blogger outreach)
• User Testing and Quality Assurance for our solarmosaic.com
• Tracking and Reporting on Website Analytics

Qualifications:

• Excellent Writing Ability
• 2+ Years Grassroots Organizing or Peer-to-Peer Marketing Experience
• Customer Support Management
• Social Network Organizing/Marketing
• Mass Email Communications
• Proficiency with CRM Software (we use Mailchimp)
• Unshakable Positivity
• Self Started and Problem Solver
• Passion for Growing the Community Solar Movement
