Position Overview:
We are currently offering a full-time position for a Mechanical Engineer to join our Technical department. You will play an integral part within the company and work with a team of Engineers.
Responsibilities:
- Provide customer and in-house technical assistance on solar hot water system sizing, configuration, controllers etc.
- Take part in new product developments and maintaining the current product program
- Create and maintain product documentation
- Conduct factory quality inspections
- Manage product certification projects
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:
- BS in Mechanical Engineering with 2-5 years experience from a relevant workplace
- Working knowledge of fluid mechanics and thermodynamics
- Proficiency in 3D modeling software (SolidWorks preferred), MS Office
- Familiarity with programming languages and IT infrastructure
- Experience in the HVAC and/or Solar industry and/or manufacturing is a plus but not a requirement
- Ability to communicate effectively either written or orally in English
