Position Overview: 

The Happiness Initiative is looking for a volunteer Social Media Coordinator. If you are imaginative, driven and have an entrepreneurial spirit, join our team.  You will gain career making experience and have a great time. 

Responsibilities:

The Volunteer Social Media coordinator is responsible for managing our online presence and promotion of the program as well as events. This includes maintaining social media sites, leading new social media strategic initiatives and developing analytics for our social media.  Social media sites include twitter, facebook, a blog, you tube and aspects of the website.  Our goals include growing the number of people who take the Happiness Initiative survey from 10,000 (our current number) to 100,000, growing the number of followers on our twitter account, likes on our Facebook account and responses on our blog.   

Qualifications:

Ability to attend weekly staff meetings on Mondays at 10 am (day and time subject to change on mutual agreement of the team), network and represent the project in the Seattle Area community and promise at least 6 months time.
