Dharma Merchant Services provides merchant accounts & equipment to accept credit cards at your business. Our mission is to provide excellent service while showing compassion for our environment, our communities, our customers and ourselves.

Position Overview:

Dharma is seeking a new team member with superb organizational and communication skills, a sincere desire to help others, the ability to learn new concepts and procedures quickly, a genuine interest in sustainable business practices, and the ambition to grow spiritually and professionally in a promising industry.

Responsibilities include customer support for retail and eCommerce merchants. Candidate must have previous experience and knowledge of payment gateways, terminal use, funding processes, dda account
and closure requests, Interchange and pricing programs, bankcard statement formats, and other industry-specific knowledge. A minimum of 2 years of customer support experience in the merchant services
industry is required.

The ideal candidate will need to be familiar with the concepts described in the book Sacred Commerce: Business as a Path of Awakening, by Matthew and Terces Englehart. These concepts are incorporated in the daily operations and overall intention of the business. Dharma is not only a place at which financial and physical needs can be met, but where personal transformation can be practiced.

Qualifications: 

  • Minimum 2 years of industry experience
  • High School diploma or equivalent, bachelor's degree strongly preferred
  • Minimum 3 years professional work experience in an office environment, ideally interfacing with customers
  • Must be proficient in various Microsoft applications such as Outlook, Word and Excel
  • Strong customer relations skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Must have excellent phone etiquette
  • Must be a team player with a great attitude and caring demeanor
  • Must have an interest in experiencing work as a means to understand and express the true nature of self

Status: Full time with schedule of 8hrs/day, 5 days/week in our downtown San Francisco office 

Compensation: Commensurate with experience, benefits provided
